While my wife was at Church, I decided to get out and take some pictures. I had never been to Rufus Stone, the site of William II's accidental demise, so it seemed as good a place as any to get a little photography done.

Rufus Stone sits under a large oak tree. The stone has been encased in cast-iron for almost 150 years.

The inscription briefly tells the story.

The damp ground near the stone is a haven for fungus.
