A Trip to Brockenhurst
Our favourite little town.
Anne and I visit Brockenhurst regularly. It's a small town in
the New Forest, the national park to the west of Southampton. It's
easy to get to by train, which is key as we don't have a car. Here
are some pictures from one of our trips:
Noah falls asleep on the
train..... |
...while Anne and I relax. |
Anne has her first ever cream tea at the
Thatched Cottage. |
Perfectly straight and bordered
by gorse, the path to the woods stretches before us. |
We sit and relax by the
river. |
Noah takes an interest in
everything. |
Horses (even pregnant ones) aren't too bothered
by people, but deer are a trifle more skittish and have to be snuck
up on. |
The Foresters Arms, a great
place to eat after a tiring walk. |

A sleepy Noah on the train
home. |
