The Bad Apple, my favourite ex-pat bar, was closing. I wanted to get one last beer in there before it shut its doors forever. It seems there were a lot of people that had that same idea. I had a great time meeting up with people that I hadn't seen in a long time. It seemed like every English teacher in Daejeon was in attendance.

Sing-Hae and Paul, the married owners of the Bad Apple, serve drinks from behind a packed bar.

Angela and Strawberry clink glasses and heads. Angela complained all night that she wasn't on the website, so now she is.

As the night wore on, there was even a little dancing, highly unusual for the Bad Apple.

People were still arriving when I left. I have never seen the Bad Apple so crowded.
